 |  Shortly after moving into our first home, my family discovered that our yard was riddled with glass as the result of a previous house fire (that required the upstairs windows be broken). I contacted several area landscapers with good reputations and glowing reviews online to re-sod the yard and replace all the flower beds, but Perfect Landscapes was the standout. Not only was their estimate the lowest, their customer service was outstanding. Karen was very helpful on the phone and Robert went above and beyond with his customer service. He showed up on my door step with my estimate two hours after our initial meeting rather than making me wait until the next morning since he knew how anxious I was to make the yard safe for my kids! Karen, Robert, and their staff were prompt, thorough, and gracious, and made it SO easy to work with them--no waiting, no follow-up phone calls, and complete satisfaction with their work. When I noticed few pieces of glass left in the root system of one of the bushes in the yard, Hugo, the project manager, picked them out by hand and checked the remaining bushes. My yard looks fantastic and is free of glass and it only took a matter of days between the estimate and the work being finished. | I had researched and interviewed many, many landscapers in the DC area few years ago - trying to find one who could replace the horrific paver patio another landscaper (Perennial) had installed. I ended up hiring Christian/Perfect Landscapes to replace the patio, build a new walkway, and provide new plantings/trees. He did a beautiful job, and so, when we moved to a new home last year, we hired Christian again to help design and install a new backyard oasis (we fondly call "The Epic Backyard"). Using NVBlu for the pool (Christian had a working relationship with Alan at NVBlu, so the process of working with both was easy), Christian designed a phenomenal paver patio with retaining walls, boulders, plantings/trees, and a show-stopper fireplace - all blending seamlessly with the pool and the existing patio, deck, and entire backyard.<br /> We use Perfect Landscapes for lawn maintenance and irrigation system turn-on and turn-off. Our landscaping experience is a testament to his commitment to providing his customers with top quality service. Despite a minor setback on our project, Christian did not miss a beat and provided personal follow-through and complete satisfaction as promised. His crew was excellent and worked tirelessly to transform our formerly lifeless builders landscape into beautiful design spaces. My husband and I could not be more pleased with the final landscape design project and are looking forward to enjoying it as our new plantings mature. | Perfect Landscapes really did live up to its name with the recent work in our backyard. Our project entailed basically flattening our backyard. Our backyard had a goofy slope that essentially made it unusable. At the top of the existing slope was a short loose rock retaining wall that would have to be removed/replaced with the elimination of the slope. With 3 small girls, we really wanted a flat backyard in which we could potentially install a swingset in the future. Perfet Landscapes was actually the 4th landscape contractor to give us a quote. Their quote was 1) the most affordable, and 2) really was based on a unique design involving the construction of a "boulder retaining wall". The work started promptly on the day Christian told us it would. Henry Martinez and Manuel Solare were the 2 employees who worked tirelessly to bring Christian's design to life. Henry and Manuel were amazingly efficient in their work. Their workmanship and professionalism were top notch. They took extra care to always drive the bobcat in the same tire tracks on the lawn; thereby minimzing damage to the existing lawn. All in all, our backyard was completed in 7 days. We could not be happier with the results. Hats off to Christian, Larry, Henry, Manuel, Karen, the spanish interpreter guy, and all other Perfect Landscape employees. | Perfect Landscapes is a terrific success story that proves how far honest hard work, fair pricing, outstanding customer service and true professional expertise get you. We met Christian during his early days 14 years ago as practically a one man show when he brilliantly took care of our property in Vienna. For the last several years he has been in charge of all the landscape maintenance at our substantial lot in Great Falls, where the mature landscaping is very extensive and perhaps the most valuable aspect of our property. From turf care to fragile mature shrubs prone to diseases, from garden design to tree maintenance, Christian and his crews' work has always been superior. Unlike many landscape companies serving Great Falls, his prices have always been fair instead of ulcer-inducing. Perfect Landscapes is a real pleasure to recommend. | We recently moved to northern Virginia and were delighted with everything about our new house except for the backyard. | Perfect Landscapes was a great company to work with to install our Christmas lights this year. They handled everything: design, getting the project, installation, and storage for next year. Christian kept in communication with me throughout the project and made sure the crew was there when he said they would be. The installers on-site were also exceptional, handling the work quickly & efficiently. Once finished, they made sure I knew what had been done, how the system worked and that I was completely satisfied. Overall, this is a first-rate operation, extremely professional and with a clear eye to setting the standard for customer service.  | Our backyard is now an amazing entertainment space, thanks to the creativity and craftsmanship of the team at Perfect Landscapes. We were bored with our home and thought a patio would help jazz up our yard. After working on design ideas with Perfect Landscapes, we realized that we should really tap into the asset we have backing up to woods, and our final project expanded to include a large patio, fireplace, grill station, hot tub, retaining wall, landscaping and low voltage lighting. Not only does our backyard look great, but all the details Perfect Landscapes considered were vital to making this a real destination at our home.
