We get asked a lot of questions about our company so we have compiled a Frequently Asked Question page. We hope you will find it very informative, but if you still have other questions not answered here, please feel free to call or email us. 

HOW DO I PAY FOR YOUR SERVICE? 

For the lawn maintenance service, we bill monthly and have DUE UPON RECEIPT Terms. For our specialty services (mulching, pruning, leaf removal, etc.), we bill 50% up front before work starts and the balance is due upon completion. 

HOW DOES PERFECT LANDSCAPES COMPARE TO THE COMPETITION IN PRICE?

We are not the most expensive, nor are we the cheapest. We believe that when you consider all aspects of the Perfect Landscapes LLC program – our consistent quality, reliability, efficiency and our professional reputation – you will find that we are the best value in the business. 

SHOULD I CARE IF MY LAWN SERVICE COMPANY IS LICENSED, INSURED AND HAS WORKMAN'S COMPENSATION? 

YES YOU SHOULD! If They Do Not have It than they are not liable for unsatisfactory work & damages which may occur on your property or the neighbors property.  It is to your advantage to eliminate your liability as the property owner.... in other words if someone gets hurt without the proper insurance, YOU can be SUED!  Also by Virginia LAW any business with More than 3 Employees MUST have Workman's Comp. Perfect Landscapes LLC is fully licensed and insured. 

WHAT SERVICES ARE OFFERED BESIDES MOWING? 

Perfect Landscapes LLC provides each customer with an a la carte menu of high quality maintenance services - catered to their specific needs. Our standard maintenance service consists of: Lawn mowing, trimming and edging (each visit consists of the removal of trash and debris, trimming around house and all mulch beds, edging of sidewalks and curbs and blowing paved surfaces clean). Other maintenance services offered are: Mulching, Pruning, Lawn and Plant Fertilization, Lawn Renovations, IPM programs, and Leaf removal. Perfect Landscapes LLC can also handle any landscaping services you might request including: Plant installation, Water gardens, Stone work, Patios, Outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and fire pits, Low Voltage Lighting, Irrigation maintenance, Drainage and Design

WHAT DAY IS MY LAWN MAINTAINED? 

We would love to mow every lawn on Friday, but that is not possible. We set a schedule determining which area is serviced on a particular day. We can maintain your lawn on a specific day for a special occasion with a one-week notice. 

HOW OFTEN WILL YOU CUT MY LAWN? 

Perfect Landscapes LLC will visit your property every week (except during drought months). The crew leader will decide what services need to be provided in order to maintain a consistently manicured appearance. In certain situations, that visit may consist of only trimming and edging. If for some reason you would like us to "skip" a week of maintenance, we ask that you please notify us 24 hours in advance. 

IS YOUR EQUIPMENT SAFE? 

It is our standard policy to maintain our machines on a scheduled maintenance program. First of all - for the safety of our employees, our customers and the general public. Secondly, to extend their life and to ensurer that we maintain high quality lawns. We change the oil, and lubricate at least twice per month. We change spark plugs and overhaul each machine at least twice per year. At Perfect Landscapes LLC, keeping a sharp cutting edge on our mower blades is paramount. During the spring, we sharpen our blades everyday. Our blades are sharpened at least once per week at all other times during the season. 

AT WHAT HEIGHT DO YOU CUT? 

Perfect Landscapes LLC mows at a height of 3 ¼ to 3 ½ inches with very sharp blades. 

WHAT ARE THE OFFICE HOURS OF OPERATION? 

Perfect Landscapes LLC is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The crew schedules vary but usually start from 7:00 a.m.
