Bed Care for Your Landscape

Lawn care services are our specialty at Perfect Landscapes. We take pride in our landscaping services and designs that create the ideal outdoor space for our customers.

Cleanup and Mulching

*Clean established plant beds, mulch areas and hard surfaces of debris such as sticks, weeds and leaves.

*Edge established plant beds and tree rings to re define edges.

*Beds and tree rings to be mulched with (brown) double shredded hardwood mulch at an average depth of 1-1.5″.

*Apply pre-emergent weed control: Pre-emergent weed control helps prevent most weeds from germinating in beds. It will not kill existing weeds.

Garden Visits

Once every 14-16 days starting in April, we will do a property visit. This visit will consist of, but is not limited to cleaning landscape beds of weeds, checking property for sticks, deadheading annuals, lightly pruning wild shoots on plants as needed, and do an overall inspection to ensure a well-maintained property.

Mulch Cultivation

We will recycle your existing mulch by rotating the top layer with the unexposed layer of mulch. This will improve the appearance of your landscape beds. In addition, we will add a supplemental application of pre-emergent weed control that will prevent the majority of new weeds from growing. We still highly recommend selecting our Garden Visit services to keep your landscape beds well maintained all year long. This service will be performed between July and August.

Bed Winterization

Perennials and ornamental grasses will be cut back to maintain a neat appearance during winter months.
Woody plants and roses will be hard pruned. Sticks, weeds and leaves will be removed from landscape planting beds only.

Planting Bed Weed Preventive Application

Landscape planting bed pre-emergent applied 3 time during the growing season to control seed germination of most annual grasses and broadleaf weeds. THIS SERVICE WILL NOT ELIMINATE EXISTING BROADLEAF WEEDS AND ANNUAL GRASSES. EXISTING WEEDS WILL HAVE TO BE HAND PULLED AND WILL INCUR A SEPERATE CHARGE. PLEASE INQUIRE ABOUT OUR GARDEN VISIT SERVICES IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A MORE COMPREHENSIVE PROPERTY CLEANUP SERVICE THAT HAPPENS ON A REGULAR BASIS.
