Power Core Aeration
Aeration is one of the most important cultural practices available for your lawn. Aeration helps control thatch, improves the soil structure, creates growth pockets for new roots, and enables water, fertilizer and oxygen to reach the root zone of your lawn.
Overseed and Apply Starter Fertilizer
The secret to having a beautiful lush lawn is to overseed every fall. Overseeding is going to replenish fescue grass which naturally thins out as it matures ensuring that your lawn’s bare spots are filled in, improving grass plant density and replenishing color. Not only does the increased turf density look great it also helps your lawn’s natural ability to choke out and prevent weeds from germinating and becoming established. Starter fertilizer is applied in conjunction with the overseeding service to ensure that grass seedlings have the nutrients on hand required for quick germination and vigorous growth. We highly recommend that this service is performed together with our Fall Core Aeration service for maximum results.
Top Dressing Turf With Compost
Topdressing with compost adds a layer of organic matter approximately 3/8″ thick to your lawn’s soil. Doing this greatly improves soil structure and boosts microorganism content which can help to reduce the effects of drought stress, disease and insect damage. Coupled with fall core aeration and overseeding our topdressing with compost service is a great way to boost the overall health of your lawn. Throughout the following season turf improvement will become visible as grass becomes thicker, greener and stronger.
