Yes, and we have three options based on the size and scope of your project:
A member of our landscape design team will take measurements of your property within the limits of the proposed construction. The designer will create a scaled, CAD drawn concept of the proposed work. This service is ideal for a front entrance walkway or foundation plantings.
A member of our design team will develop a professional landscape plan for either your front yard or backyard. Existing plant material and hardscapes will be relocated as needed. A CAD drawn landscape and hardscape plan will be drawn for the proposed work. This service is ideal for backyard patios, outdoor living areas and extensive plantings.
The Master Plan combines both the Landscape Design and Hardscape Design as outlined above. The goal of the Master Plan is to develop a comprehensive plan so the homeowner can implement the proposed work in logical stages. Perspective drawings can also be created to convey key areas to homeowners. Your Perfect Landscape designer reserves the right to determine the appropriate fee for design services. This fee includes design revisions as needed to arrive at a final design, though not an unlimited number. The designer may, at any time, determine if additional fees are needed, or request a project retainer, before proceeding with further revisions. For all plans, a house location survey (commonly referred to as a plat) MUST be provided in order to begin the design. Perfect Landscapes LLC is NOT responsible for preparing documents for any Homeowner’s Associations (HOA) or Architectural Review Boards unless otherwise agreed upon. For all plans, homeowners will receive a scaled design concept only. Architectural working drawings are not included in the above costs. Perfect Landscapes LLC will provide working drawings at no additional charge if the homeowner contracts Perfect Landscapes LLC to build their project. When required by the County, building codes, working drawings will need to be created by licensed architects and/or civil engineers.
We know that building your perfect backyard retreat is an investment—one that should be within reach. That’s why we recommend HFS for projects like yours.
Perfect Landscapes will visit your property every week (except during drought months). The crew leader will decide which services need to be provided in order to maintain a consistently manicured appearance. In certain situations, that visit may consist of only trimming and edging. If for some reason you would like us to “skip” a week of maintenance, we ask that you please notify us 24 hours in advance.
You do not have to be home for service. Simply provide access to the areas you would like maintained and we will take care of the rest!
YES YOU SHOULD! If the company you use is not licensed or insured, then they are not liable for unsatisfactory work and damages which may occur on your property or your neighbors’ property. It is to your advantage to eliminate your liability as the property owner. In other words, if someone gets hurt without the proper insurance, YOU can be SUED! Also by Virginia law any business with More than 3 Employees MUST have Workman’s Comp. Perfect Landscapes LLC is fully licensed and insured.
It is our standard policy to maintain our machines on a scheduled maintenance program. First and foremost, the safety of our employees, clients and the general public is of the utmost importance to us. Secondly, we make sure our machines are well-maintained to extend their life and to ensure that we maintain high quality lawns. We change the oil, and lubricate at least twice per month. We change spark plugs and overhaul each machine at least twice per year. At Perfect Landscapes, keeping a sharp cutting edge on our mower blades is paramount. During the spring, we sharpen our blades everyday. Our blades are sharpened at least once per week at all other times during the season.
